Plant Description: Low-growing evergreen shrub. Needles are scale-like when mature and more awl-like when younger. This cultivar does not flower or set fruit. The blue-green foliage turns purplish in the winter. Does not tolerate wet soils. Prefers hot and relatively dry sites. Though adaptable to many soils, this shrub prefers sandy soils.
