Plant Description: Large upright deciduous shrub native to parts of northeastern United States. Tiny white flowers appear in spring followed by purple-black berries. Bright green foliage is highly ornamental as well. Berries are edible and are used in jams, jellies, and wines. Stems and leaves are mildly toxic. Prefers regular watering but will adapt to less.
