Plant Description: Dense and mounded shrubby perennial with oblong blue-green leaves. Large golden-yellow flowers bloom in early summer. Flowers are solitary and have a cluster of bushy stames in the center. Reddish-brown bark is exfoliating on mature stems. Topgrowth may not survive harsh winters but will quickly grow again from the roots. Tolerates some drought.
