Thoughtful design has improved our original landscaping.
Here at the Conservation Garden Park, we show you how to create beautiful and water-thrifty
landscapes. Our administration building demonstrates how well this waterwise
approach can work in commercial settings. We’ve combined all the how-to tips you’ll

add an extra layer of pleasing green while countering the warming and drying effects
of mid-day sun. Savvy plant selections showcase naturally drought-tolerant species
that ask little when it comes to water, fertilizer or maintenance. And finally,
to maximize irrigation efficiency, we’ve grouped plants with similar water needs—a
tactic known as hydrozoning—and installed mostly drip emitters rather than spray
heads.
