Yellow Yucca

Hesperaloe parviflora 'Yellow'

Plant Details:

Plant Type: Cactus or Succulent
Plant Family: Agavaceae
Plant Description: Clump-forming succulent native to Texas. Not a true yucca, but resembling one, with sword shaped, blue-green leaves that grow in a cluster from the base. Long stalks above the plant produce bright yellow flowers. May not be reliably cold hardy during cold winters. Planting should occur in the spring to increase its resistance to the first winter.
