Plant Description: This robust penstemon is covered in tubular yellow flowers in late-spring to summer. Finely textured leaves give the plant its name. It grows well in well-drained soils and appreciates a little supplemental water in the summer. It is a color variant of the orange flowered pineleaf penstemon that was discovered in an English garden in 1980.
