Plant Description: Also called European Birdcherry. Medium to small deciduous tree and close relative of the native Chokecherry. Spring brings pendulous clusters of white flowers followed by small bitter black edible berries that may be better left for the birds. Serrated green leaves turn yellow in the fall. A very adaptable and easy to grow tree.
