Plant Description: This peony grows vigorously and the flower stocks do not need staking. The leaves are dark green and the flowers are large, double blossoms of a pink to orange color and have a pleasant scent. Bloom at the end of May into the beginning of June. They prefer well-drained soil with consistent moisture. Itoh peonies, or intersectional peonies, are hybrids of the tree peony (P. lemoinei) and garden peony (P. lactiflora).
