Plant Description: Compact deciduous shrub native to the southwestern United States. Upright growing stems bear small glossy mid-green leaves. Very fragrant single white flowers bloom in early to mid-summer. Bark is tan to reddish-gray and peeling. Grow in full sun and well drained soils. Very tolerant of drought once established. Grows naturally in rocky dry soils.
