Small, tubular, lavender-blue flowers appear in late-summer and are the best feature of this plant. This variety is smaller than the species and will not be as overwhelming in smaller garden areas. Looks best when cut down to the ground each year. Plant in well-drained soils in a spot with plenty of room to grow.
