Plant Description: A medium-sized flowering deciduous tree with good seasonal interest. The large glossy green leaves are made up of 5 to 7 lance-shaped leaflets and turn red to purple in the fall. Spikes of yellow flowers bloom in late-spring to summer. Requires consistent moisture and will not handle extreme drought. Produces large nuts which are mildly toxic and quite bitter.
