Plant Description: Dwarfed deciduous shrub with clusters of white to pink flowers that bloom in the spring. Known for its exfoliating bark that reveals shades of red underneath. Dark green leaves are shallowly lobed and turn yellow in the fall. Tolerates some drought and alkaline soils.
